    Schematic for a Crate VXF5112 Guitar Amp?

    Have a Crate VXF5112 with a loud 60Hz hum, that suddenly started, and is unaffected by inputs or gain/volume controls. I don't see (scope) a filtering problem in the power sections. I'd like to isolate amp sections, but it would help the have a schematic, specific to this amp. I can't find it...

    You might want to consider pre-aligning pill "magazines"(tubes) rather than the "bin" concept that I assume you're envisioning. Ken

    Are you talking submersible in the oil pan? Is there already a valve that the actuator needs to move, or are we talking about an electrical solenoid valve? Patents are only as good as the money you have to litigate it in court. That's the only right that a patent grants. Ken

    I first thought of retriggerable monostable 555s and diode logic, but then thought better would be an 8-pin microcontroller. Small size. Compatible with the batteries. Low power. Can use programmable logic and adjustable timing to set the delay time. Ken
