    You could probably use an off the shelf DC motor speed controller, or build your own circuit using a NE555 timer to drive a mosfet by pwm.

    How about relocating the transmitter or its antenna then? Try keeping it spaced away from any nearby metal. It's possible that there was radio interference on the same frequency which caused the interruption. Idk.

    Sounds like your meter makes a nice antenna/range booster for the transmitter. Can you relocate the box to a better location?

    Reduce off grid freezer startup current?

    Many get away with it by using ambiguous language like, "It may improve your energy usage" Or, they show videos of the amperage before and after their device being plugged in. A 30% reduction is very impressive. I would love to see the actual numbers on a watt meter.

    Good catch de Edd, the positive 7800 series has pin 1 for input while the negative 7900series has pin 2 for its input. Both use pin 3 for Output.
