    Why? I see nothing wrong as long as loads are close to equal. This is the same set-up commonly used in North America.

    Well, not ideally. They are designed to be placed in the windings where thermal conductivity is used. The type you have works on the ambient temp. Besides the temp setting of those (I assume) is much higher.

    Back in the day, I took a Polaris centered shot similar to this one with my 35mm camera. (Picture courtesy of Google). I was quite proud of myself. I agree. The best way to see a meteor shower is just lying on your back and looking up with "#1 eyeball" like when you were a kid.

    It would be safer, yes. The intent of the manufacture adding the thermal is to protect when someone puts in the wrong light bulb. No, The most important number is 55c which is the temperature it will limit.

    Some people are disappointed by what they see through a telescope with their eye because they are used to seeing astronomy pictures out of a book that are super colorful. The human eye can't perceive all those colors like a camera can. Especially long exposure shots.

    You can get a replacement, but IMHO If it was me I'd probably just cut it out of the circuit. Most refrigerators don't have thermal fuses for the lighting circuit.

    I picture a small rod being inserted into the hole, it rotates and needs to be reorientated. before removal? I would simply add a screw on the end of the rod with a proximity switch that would read the home position when the screw position reaches the switch.

    Not enough info to answer, but I'm guessing it depends on the magnetic field intensity and the current you need to drive the rectifier? A coil itself is an inductor.
