    Clicking noise from cd player

Probably the disc is warped if no other damage can be seen. You can copy the disc to a CD-R and see if that solves it. I used to copy/backup all my bought CDs and store the original only using the copy/backup. Martin

Matching Of Source AC power To Isolation Transformer Primary?

Have a read of this Digikey article. It might have the information you require. An isolation transformer has identical primary and secondary windings to give 1:1 ratio. A transformer will still have isolation between primary and secondary windings but the voltages will either be higher or lower...

    Poneer SX-727 Speakers cutting out.

This sounds like a typical power supply issue. Check the electrolytic capacitors for bulging tops or signs of leakage. Possibly just dried out too. Also check for dry/cracked solder joints. Martin

    One more schematic clarification

Many reasons for 0Ω resistors. Sometimes it’s just cheaper than a wire link. Other times it might just be a weak link to protect the circuit up stream. Martin Martin

    What is the component

With the symbol shown, ie: solid lines, indicates to me that It’s an iron core inductor. Broken lines/dashes, indicate a ferrite core. So unless these symbols are being used incorrectly, I’d adhere to the schematic with its symbols. Martin

    Cable Connectors

I’m not saying there isn’t a book of all connector types, but I’ve never seen one. Obviously they change and new types become available all the time. You may have more luck specifying the use first ie: Audio, video, computer, Radio (RF), power, Vehicle etc etc. Then look at the specs and keep...

What is quality level and reliability of cheap chinese diodes?

Unfortunately, buying anything from China directly as opposed to through a reputable vendor is always risky. Fake components are in the millions. My advice would be to change the diodes to known good ones and see if your measurements change. Martin

Remove a component with multiple solders

If that’s all you’ve got, it leaves you with little choice. De-solder a pin at a time. Solder suckers work best by applying fresh solder first. Sounds counter intuitive but it works. Martin

Looking for help finding/searching for a "inline DC power plug & jack"

Ok, still don’t know how many wires but will presume 4 as you used two DC jacks. What about mini XLR or locking din connectors?. Much better on the eye!. Martin

Looking for help finding/searching for a "inline DC power plug & jack"

Or of course, some JST connectors?. An image search for JST or JST type connectors brings up a multitude. But you might get more help from the forum members if you include the number of wires and the current requirement from the device. Martin

    Power Reduction Query

What RC lorry have you got? It might be as simple as lowering the voltage (cheap toy). The PWM module might not function properly if the lorry’s receiver is proportional. But as already asked, I’ll wait for your answers. Martin
