    It is rated 220vac should be no problem with 24V. But,It is rated 2A so it wouldn't carry 10A,5A and 3A. For the 10A alone you would need 5+5=10 wires... not enough wires in the gadget:(

    O.K The humbucker itself is fine. What is written on the pots. and cap? Now connect back the original way. Look at the photo, looks like the black wire is touching the red(blue area). Spread them well apart. Put the pots. in a middle position and try again. If it still doesn't work ,do...

    No. But,try this: Disconnect the humbucker wires from the pot etc. and connect them directly to the tip and sleeve(only that). Put the amp at lower volume,Is there sound?

    Is your furnace 3 phase or single phase? Can you please post the specs. of your generator. If it is a diesel/fuel generator it will probably have a clean sinusoidal signal while running (very low THD). The problems will probably be when you switch it on and off.
