    If this is a stereo unit ,I don't think it is the PS caps. If they were you would get the problem on both channels. The proper instrument to test and fix this is an oscilloscope. A "PC audio scop" could do the job as well. There is a lot of dirt on the boards,first thing to do is clean well...

    Something doesn't compute:eek: 1. You say 600 Hz,but your scope says 2Hz,which is it? 2. Two adjacent points in the ring osc. (i.e input and output of a s.t gate)should be inverted(see the white trace I added instead of the yellow one) they obviously aren't. Are you measuring at the correct points?

    It is possible to duplicate the Ic as you say, if: 1. Lock Code Protection isn't used(not very likely) 2. The "burning related" pins function properly. 3. You have the the correct burner/programmer. Better get the answers from Cozzia first. Have you tested the relay 1 circuit ,as per reply #162?
