    Searching part number for 690KE

O.K The 690KE is most probably a power on reset IC. It seems to monitor the input voltage(5v?) of the 1086 3.3v regulator. The 690KE output is feed to a transistor(which is it?) probably for inversion and then to pin 111 of the GM5621 IC (RESETn). Do you need to replace the 690KE ? I couldn't...

    In Memoriam

I didn't know @KrisBlueNZ as I joined not so long ago...about 7 months . Came searching for a washing machine service manual and stayed. Looked his name up in the "Members" and found "Sadly passed away in 2015". That is sad indeed, what happened?:(

Help! Repairing water damaged PCB from Massage chair.

O.K, Let's do some tests on the up-down limit switch: Insert the "MgDetect" and CN35 connectors. 1.Measure the voltage on the IC socket(without the IC) pins 37,38 relative to Gnd (5v expected). 2.On the limit up/down boards: Insert an object that doesn't pass light into the U-like opto-device...

    Appropriate diode fo my circuit

Tony, What kind of LEDs are you going to use? Current and color and the most important -datasheet! It is important for the resistance calculation. As it is now , with the 150 ohm ,9V and assuming white LED. You have about 37ma which is a strange value. Is this the correct current for the LEDs...

    Appropriate diode fo my circuit

Tony, Actually I think you have used too many diodes.;) You only need 2 blocking diodes D5 and D6,the other are not needed. Also adjust the values of R6 and R7 . see here:

1.That doesn't paint a full clear picture. If possible take one single picture that includes all the motors, mechanisms,"limit switches" etc. one we can relate to , and try to decipher how things are connected. 2.There are some measurements on post #187 on the main board you haven't done them yet.

As it is, on CN35 there is no connection to 12V the "spider web" photo from #7 confirms that you started that way. The 12V must get to the opto boards via the brown-wire on connector "MgDetect". There is hop that the IC isn't bad, it may be that it wouldn't "issue" an activate signal for the...

Yes, I have mis-red the traces. Can you please post a print side only photo , the overlay is obscuring part of the traces. The circuit goes like this than: To activate the opto the ,controller needs to feed GND at the control pin of the main board. Without the IC in the socket ,you should...

It is bed time for me. Next step is inserting the IC in the control board (no power). and Testing voltages: 1.RN,PD on the connector CN115 relative to GND. a.not activated -should be 0V b.activated -should be up to 5V What do we get? 2.pins 2-red to 3-black of the opto (activated and not)...

    DC Power Splitter

You read this correctly. The 5 metre strip will consume 5*5.76W=29Watts. It will require a 12V/2.5A wall wart. Get a SMPS type so it will not be very bulky and warm.

    Something isn't right, #1 and #2 are in conflict : at the connector 0v and on the TLP251 5V ? #4 = a diode test ,measure red=3 ,black=2 ( other direction ,2results).

Demultiplexing / routing from single source to multiple destination

Welcome, More information is needed: 1.What is the nature of your "Analog inputs" i.e Voltage,Frequency range, impedance etc. 2. When you say "inputs",Do you mean inputs to the "switch"? If so, than they are actually outputs or sources...;) that issue needs to be very clear .

Regarding #172: 11.8V is fine there is a voltage regulator I missed(yellow in the pic below), is it a 7812? The voltage polarity you measured should actually be reverse polarity,is this so(yellow marks)? To check the TL251 we need to connect the controller board without the IC in the socket...

As simple as it gets: 1.Use a wall-wart(5,6,9,12VDC any may do the trick) they aren't expansive and you probably have more than one laying around. What kind of LED-lights?

    Diode sizing

To answer this ,we need to now the current consumption of the camera you are using. If it is less than 1A you can use 1n400x diodes. If you need to buy, get the 1N4007 ,they are100PCs for less than 1$ .
