    Generally speaking, yes you can. You’ll notice that all the ‘orange’ wires are grouped and soldered to a single bus line. So in theory, it won’t matter what ‘orange’ +3.3V wire you connect to any +3.3V pin on the connector. But you’d be better to solder each one and insulate with heat shrink...

    Apparently, it was common to wire all the series-parallel heaters in parallel. This meant the heaters run on 6.3Vac rather than the original 24v/28vac. Martin

    Probably RCAs are for pre-amp in. So you’d need to use the volume on the Input source, ie MP3 or DVD player. Where as the amp input jack has it’s own pre-amp and volume control. Are the RCAs definitely an input? Not for output recording?. Martin

    TBH, I am too. It could have been a mistake on the PCB/design and cheaper to re-pin the HDMI connector. Who knows?. Either way, a parts unit is always a good idea providing its not a known problem with the connector. Martin
