    Can't you see the LED current and Emitter "Current directions" are opposing ?:rolleyes: Furthermore, the BE of the PNP can never be foreword biased in this circuit. It could work ("In reverse logic") if your transistor would have been NPN, but not with a PNP !

    Looks like you are trying to use an Opel Corsa S229 stalk instead of something else,do you have the drawing of the other thing?a photo of it? That S229 contains 3 switches and a bunch of "switched" resistors between pin 3 and pins(1,2,4).

    I suggest you use these kind of electric terminal blocks/strips. They are isolated. You can split them and use screws to connect the wires as well as screws to mount it.
