    Here's the update on the identifiers on the IC's above: (Fairchild Logo) 7709393 (first line) U6W (Date Code) 7035 (2nd line) It's a gold plated ceramic 14-Pin DIP 7709393 (first line) SGS B (Date Code) 7418 It's a plastic package 14-Pin DIP That's all that's on the IC package.

    Places like Arrow only sell to OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers). You can get that device from many places. If you're buying for a business in large quantities, Arrow will work. If you only need a few, any electronics parts store near you should carry it. If you're out in the boonies...

    I don't know who the 'HD' prefix belongs to, but it looks like you want a TTL Logic 74LS14. Where are you located? SN74LS14 would be a common equivalent (here anyway) Is it an old-style 14-Pin DIP package, or some surface mount device?

    I don't have the IC's with me at the moment. But I'll recheck them later. I found a website (reliability unknonw) that crossed the following simiilar parts: FU5B7710393 = 710HC FU5B7749394 = 749HC As you can see from the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th number characters in the string, like woodchips...

    Did you Google the manufacturer and the model number to try to get a schematic? If the manufacturer didn't leave the part numbers on the components, they probably didn't want anybody fixing the instrument themselves, so they may not be willing to help, but an option is to contact them and ask...

    I guess we just don't know what to tell you. You've got the data sheet on your timer, just look-up your model number and the data sheet for your model number tells you how to wire it. Wire it up on a workbench before you install it, and play with it, until it does what you want. People here...

    multiple displays

    We just don't have enough information. What's your application, what's the model number of your displays? Typically in industrial applications, inputs are 4-20mA, 1-5VDC, here in the States anyway. There are plenty of people on this site that will help you if you can give a little.
