    Alternative Actuator Choices?

Over what distance must the force be exerted? How fast is the required movement? Angular or linear movement?

    Ultrasonic sensor working underwater?

Granted; but depending on the transducer spec there may still be enough transferred energy for the 20cm range the TS requires.

Volts to ohms for fuel sender

Do you see the inconsistency? Why 6 bars for an empty tank?

    Radio for the space.

Yes, there is. Almost any radio transmission will radiate some energy into space. But how would you distinguish your signal from all the other radio signals which space is continuously being bombarded with from Earth? How big an aerial dish can you install to receive a very, very, very, very...

Volts to ohms for fuel sender

If more display 'bars' = more fuel, this setup is inconsistent with the table of measurements in post #34.

    Ultrasonic sensor working underwater?

What sort of water depth do you want to work at? If very shallow, you may be able to adapt the usual air-type transducers.

    Wireless sign

To light a 300 x 70mm area evenly is going to take some doing, especially if front-lit. Where would you place the light source(s) so that they don't obscure the message on the sign? Couldn't you use a back-lit translucent sign?

    PWM frequency and LC filter

Does this help? The yellow plot shows the PWM output as 2kHz. I'm surprised MatLab can't tell you?

n-mosfet replacement on Qnix lcd monitor

This is an example of a lower Rds(on) FET in a D-pak format.

    IR remote for android

Your image seems to show solder bridges between all the LED legs!

Bent microcontroller legs... how can I repair it?

If the pins are tinned copper, even the severely bent ones would hopefully survive being straightened. Might not be lucky, though, if the pins are plated mild steel (a magnet should tell you). Personally, I wouldn't advise heating the pins; you'd have to get them pretty hot to anneal them and...

    Wireless sign

What range do you need for the wireless link? Does the sign have to be fairly evenly illuminated over the whole 300 x 70 mm area, or in just a few spots? Back-lit or front? What is your budget for this project?

    Switching Multiple Circuits Simultaneously

Since you are using a PC to run all the games, can't you just use one SPDT switch to tell the computer to switch characters and execute appropriate routines?

    Wireless sign

A little 9V battery won't light many LEDs for very long. How many LEDs will the sign include and what battery life-time are you hoping for? Since you mention weight, are you intending to fly this sign on a plane/drone? If so, check that it isn't illegal.

n-mosfet replacement on Qnix lcd monitor

I think I'd be tempted to look for a FET with a lower Rds(on) rating, since the same failure in two monitors indicates the FET is under-specified.

Convert PWM output to variable frequency

Yup, you've worked it out ;). The discharge current via the diode is limited by the internal resistance (a few hundred Ohms) of the inverter. The charge current via the transistor needs to be less than this discharge current.

Convert PWM output to variable frequency

Not quite. R1/Q1 form a voltage-controlled constant-current source for charging C1 towards the negative rail. When C1 has charged to the lower threshold point of the Schmitt trigger, the trigger output goes high, discharging C1 back towards the positive rail via D1. Thus a sawtooth-wave...

    Corrosion resistant electrodes

If you are making a capacitor, could you use a thin coating of insulation (lacquer etc) over copper etc plates?

    IR remote for android

Do you mean it doesn't work when the LEDs are soldered directly to the jack terminals rather than via lengths of wire? If so, then you probably have the LED polarity wrong when soldered directly. How do you intend to include current-limiting resistors with the direct connection?
