    Pioneer SX-SW515 - missing controller.

It may be... sadly the only manuals I can find online to see the technical spec etc are from 'pay' sites and I abhor such policies and refuse to use them. If the IR receiver is in that remote module then you're stuck with sourcing one.

    Op Amp with a/c output

I'd refer posters to the original thread.... The signal required comes from a speed sensor and is (probably) used to adjust timing, fuel injection etc so needs to follow the engine rpm else the emissions produced would 'fail' the vehicle anyway. It's not an 'AC' signal either. It's DC (with...

What does your workshop / workbench look like?

...and others have a fetish :D I don't think this thread is meant to be a competition - just a friendly 'being nosy' kinda thing.

Casio WK-3000 no power on adapter but power on batteries

Where are you putting your meter leads to make these measurements?

    Pioneer SX-SW515 - missing controller.

There is a remote control available for tha device that looks like your standard TV remote - nothing like the 'display' that plugs into the port but since that particular device will be as rare as rocking horse sh1t you could do worse than get a normal remote and use it with that - only $20 or...

    Ultrasonic Transducer Driver adjust frequency

The output transformer is usually 'tuned' to the transducer (resonance) as the drive voltage is considerably higher than the supply voltage and, as a result, you can't use them at different frequencies.

    Digi pot for pwm board

Funny you should ask. If you Google that board it shows a number of different versions, same board layout, same component layout BUT with a 1M pot in place of the 2M pot your image shows....???? It also shows the schematic: The 1MΩ pot shown can easily be changed for a 2MΩ given the range...

May I ask... "why not?" :D

    Flashgun no longer triggers flash

It's a good sign. Does the light normally change to green when it's 'ready' for use? With the unit powered up you should be able to read a few hundred volts DC across the terminals of the big capacitor - WARNING, keep your hands well away, it can kill.... use a decent test meter, not a $2...

    Flashgun no longer triggers flash

AFAIK the tubes are just gas-filled. You should be able to hear a high pitched whine as the power is applied and the main discharge capacitor gets charged up. The whine (whistle noise) should start quite strong then increase in frequency whilst diminishing in volume. Takes a couple of seconds...

    Creating an digital PB board

Not an easy project for a beginner, that's for sure. Consider getting a load of cheap digital clocks (your local supermarket probably has a gazillion) and scrapping the cases for the circuit boards. You can then use the clock 'set' buttons (wire in some external ones) to set whatever time you...

    Digi pot for pwm board

You could switch a 1M resistor in/out of series with the 1M version that's available or even use a load of 200k resistors and give yourself 10 ranges! Given the variable resistors are all 15-turn presets you'd need to have switched ranges to get any form of accuracy as the 'steps' available on...

    DIY automated power transfer switch

The 'authorities' legal position ends after the meter. All cabling and distribution equipment AFTER the supply meter is the ownership and responsibility of the property owner. No one ever suggested that there was any 'irregularities' with the OP's request or the methods used to achieve it.

What does your workshop / workbench look like?

Mine is (currently) a sh1th0l3....:p I started building some garden structures this summer (covered eating area and a summer house) and my workshop is filled to the rafters with building materials as the weather, ever since the wood arrived, has been appalling - typical... There's no...

    Multimeter Question

One of the most popular and well-reported multimeters out there right now is the AN8008 and you can purchase THREE of them for the price of the piece the OP got..... There are numerous reviews of the AN8008 and even Dave over on EEVBlog has praise for this little gem...
