    Flashgun no longer triggers flash

Probably (at a guess) the main discharge capacitor - something like 330μF at 350V or somesuch - you can't really miss it, being the largest component in there! Internal pics might help.

    Hi guys, need help

Does your incoming phone line have its own ADSL filter (many do) - if so it will need changing.

    iPhone pulse (newbie here)

Assuming it's a model with direct access and not those 'headphone-socket-free' versions! A simple tone detector (NE567?) could be used to detect a given tone and operate the motor. More complicated still would be the use of CTCSS-like system or even the two-tone dialling system where there are...

    Hydraulic Generators

As per my first post, the LM2907 performs all the necessary functions to deliver a proportional control voltage that you require. The scaling of the voltage can be achived partly by correct components associated with the LM2907 but also via simple level shifting using op-amps if necessary. The...

    DIY automated power transfer switch

Your on/off peak supply sounds a lot like what's available in Scotland. The off-peak supply is available for a total of 8 hours in a 24 hour period, 6 of which are overnight (1am to 7am) and the other two hours at some (un)specified time during the day - Scotland does it around 1pm-2pm and...

    Multimeter Question

A multimeter is a tool that you may end up using for many decades and if it's chosen correctly it will return a lifetime of service that you'll be very upset to lose should it go wrong. Consequently you need to make the right decision from the outset. With even the budget you've used for this...

    Any SDR users?

LOL - that can happen with any technology these days but it still doesn't stop people going out and purchasing the best that's available at the time.

    DIY automated power transfer switch

Look for a make-before-break set of contacts (not that I think they exist.... but they might :D) You could use one relay (double-pole) to short the contacts momentarily before the contactor operates and additional relay powered from the contactor output to break the first relay.

    12v receptacle

Polarisation basically. To allow a double-pronged connector you have to ensure it can only be inserted one way or fit some 'steering' device (a bridge rectifier will do it) to prevent misconnection. But a BR means additional cost and power losses so it isn't done.

WACOM Cintiq 21UX - LCD issue

So the screen backlight works but there is zero data displayed? No data displayed when the on-screen menu buttons are pressed? Are there alternative input ports on the device to try? When faults like this occur in TV's it is usually the TCON board at fault. Sourcing a replacement for that...

Current Consumption of the IC BQ24075.

The total supply current depends on the mode in use and is not stated as a specific overall value.

    Hydraulic Generators

A frequency-to-voltage IC is readily available although this can be done using discrete parts too. http://pdf1.alldatasheet.com/datasheet-pdf/view/462646/TI1/LM2907-N.html Study the data sheet (which is VERY comprehensive) and in particular page 9 onwards where practical examples are shown.

What's to say that any further modifications wouldn't also end up the same way? I always thought indicators were auto-cancelling anyway? They are in all the cars I've ever owned.
