My MCU circuit can't start by itself

What voltage are you running it from? Adam

My MCU circuit can't start by itself

It's all the config bits that might be worth looking at, as it seems strange it works on a 4MHz crystal and that's all. Adam

    measuring signals above 1MHz

I think that's a good idea, I suppose it depends on how much you paid for the scope in the first place. Adam

    Voltage to current converter circuit

The buffer needs to be what is driving the load. Think of inserting it inside the op-amp and the output of the buffer now being the output of the op-amp. Adam

    Twin LED Flasher

Yeah valid point Kris, but this is just an example of how people assume the wrong thing and still get the same results. This happens all the time and this is why people don't look for the correct answer because they think they know it. Look at all the recent hoo-hah about BJTs. But I get your...

My MCU circuit can't start by itself

Can you supply the source code maybe someone on here might spot something. Adam

Schematic for a Crate VXF5112 Guitar Amp?

Correct Harald this is why some people modify the heater voltage to be d.c to remove the Hum. Adam

    Voltage to current converter circuit

The op-amp used was modified to have a low output resistance. As I told you a buffer might be needed if you can't find an op-amp with enough current handling capacity. Adam

    Twin LED Flasher

This is the start of my resource but I thought it fitting to post as a reply to this thread. The world of Physics, shall we say can get a bit confusing at times, that’s probably an understatement. There are so many different opinions on what actually happens regarding current, energy, electric...

    How Transistors Work

Good I will help you all I can. It is nice to have someone who doesnt think they will learn everything in five minutes. But if you have any burning questions you are really struggling with then message me if you dont want to post it I know some simple questions can seem embarising to ask. I was...

    Twin LED Flasher

Yes you do and the problem which is confusing is the conflict of electronics and physics. So there you are thinking you got this transistor stuff all sorted out. Current flows from collector to emitter dependant on applied base emitter voltage (NPN), yep got that. Then the physics tell you it...

    How Transistors Work

It will soon became clear young skywalker. In about 10 years or so, dont give up its worth it. Adam

    Twin LED Flasher

Your just like me I am never happy until I know how all this works. Some engineers are just happy knowing the basics. And dont get me wrong some of the worlds greatest know far more than me and have less physics experience. So it all depends on your take on all this. But you dont have to know...

    Twin LED Flasher

I think you need to only concern yourself with electron holes in relation to semiconductors. Your just going to confuse yourself if you try to relate this to current and charge distribution inside a capacitor. It is far better at this stage to just concentrate on how the components work...

    measuring signals above 1MHz

There is a little push button next to CH1 scope input which is channel select. As Bob said have you checked this, it looks like it is out which might be channel 2. Press it in or out and see it that helps. Adam

Schematic for a Crate VXF5112 Guitar Amp?

Hi Ken 60 Hz hum that does not change with volume is normally caused by a ground loop. Have you moved into a different room / house or added any other pieces of equipment to your set up? Adam
