    Tablet charging problem

Back in the 80s, I worked in Tandys. They kept them near the Entabulators and Flux Capacitors.

Need schematic for Bose Wave Music System AWRCC1 pcb 272146-001

You could probably do well in fly swats with your experience then :). Hi Gary, Yes the smd components are rather frustrating. The reference designators seem to be non existent. They do however have a code on the body. Not that the code can always be found either. But I find a good magnifying...

Old-bie finally inspired for some DIY fun! Need a point in the right direction.

That would be great thank you. I have been making my own designs for a few year too. I was a mobile DJ years ago and used to build my own amps and speakers. Never really did understand the speaker design..I made them look very nice and they sounded great. Real grunt from bass bins etc. But my...

Need schematic for Bose Wave Music System AWRCC1 pcb 272146-001

Hi Gary, The schematic seems to be very well hidden. I will keep looking though. I presume you have opened it to have the board numbers. Not powering up will certainly be the power supply. I also presume you have checked on-board fuses? A little more information will help. What have you checked...

Hi speakerdesignguy, I think you should do a 'project resource' for speaker design. Best wood, Area/volume, ports, scoops, driver angles etc etc. Would be a great addition to the site. Martin

    Bass Amplifier troubleshooting

Hi Joe, Some more good suggestions above.. I had a sideways peak at the schematic. Something else to try.....Because I still think it is loose /faulty caps or GND issue. Just after the bridge rectifier there are two caps in series. C3 and C4 Both 3300μf. There are also two test points there...

    Bass Amplifier troubleshooting

Hi Joe, I was kind of hoping you had sorted it. Thanks for the update. I had to read the whole post to see what was already said and done. Ok, I think I am with it.. Where exactly are you measuring the secondary outputs? You should check them directly on the transformer. Try lifting a leg of the...

Laptop Electronics Engineer or Technician needed (Laptop isn't Turning on)

That is the whole problem... It doesn't. Which is why I was saying to try another AC adapter. If the adapter is faulty, it will or can put a very slow charge and the laptop starts after several hours. This is normally always the caps in the adapter. The problem here is that the OP didn't have a...

    Vizio blue ray player

Yes, that seems to be a Thermistor. I would check that first. Have you powered up the board and checked whether there is voltage on the other side of the Thermistor. If you look underneath the board, you should see the F1 trace and continues through (series) the thermistor. Then keep checking...

Position of one device relative to another.

I agree with the above. However, if your pockets are deep enough!! Quantum Positioning..1000 times more accurate than GPS. Or read up on GPS vs IPS.. Both are still in development. Is this for a drone? Martin

    Philips TV: no power.

I found a similar manual. But this model has a single ceramic for each connector.. I can email this to you! I'll try and upload it here first. Here's a snap of the board. Nope, TOO large. Martin

    Philips TV: no power.

I don't have to D/L anything. The PDF opens in my browser. It doesn't have a download option so I would need to copy as much as possible my screen.
