    No, that is solid core. It will break after a few bends. (it will work) but not for a moveable cable. You need flexible stranded wire. ALso you need the connectors first and then go to an electronics shop to find the cable that fits in the connector. Martin

    Probably because most resistors are quite tiny, and reading values would be more difficult than coloured bands. Then they would have to print silly codes like on smd. That would be even more confusing... Martin

    And here is something I stole another website:) Update: I found a service manual which mentions the power supply in your photo. Connectors CN2 and CN3 bring high voltage from the transformer to the backlights, and the four capacitors appear to bring the HV signal down to several protection...
