    You might not need a differential amplifier for this. The Mosfet will connect the inverting terminals gain components to 0V. Just try and remove R4. Or are you adjusting the current by PWM on the gate? you don't say. Adam

    It helps to have software that has a DRC (Design rule check) so you can see if there are any shorts or opens that you might have created. I would always draw the schematic first in the software I was intending to layout the PCB in. And then when you come to do the breadboard / proto-board design...

    What voltage is it dropping to? Where are you connecting the d.c input to. You need to connect it after the bridge rectifier. Adam

    Yes its not new. I saw this sort of thing 10 years ago, but much more exspensive. One similar process was to mill small grooves in the PCB and then fill them with a silver paste to make tracks.
