    AC Diode

Hi Duke, I don't think he means running an AC pump on DC. If I understand him correctly, he now wants to replicate his DC circuit but with AC instead Martin

    Increasing Current

Hi Electro, that is very confusing to me too. If the battery is 1.5v and the resistors are 100Ω. 1.5 / 100 = 0.015. How are you getting 0.3A? And adding all three resistors is 0.045. How are you getting 1.5A? EDIT: How are you measuring this? What settings on the meter? Martin

    Velleman Voice Changer Mod

The unit I linked to will do exactly what you want. One speaker to both units. And also play pre-recorded samples / messages too. The cheaper unit doesn't have inputs for pre-recorded files either. De nada Martin

    Velleman Voice Changer Mod

Hi, what voice changer kit is it? Was it a kit version? Mk171? The above voice changer has a speaker output. The other unit I linked to has a line input and speaker output, So shouldn't be a problem getting them to work together. Martin

Recycling an old phone/fax machine any ideas?

I think he was quite adament about it being a 70s board. This is most likely a late 90s / early 2000 machine. Martin

Recycling an old phone/fax machine any ideas?

Hi Robert. some interesting items you have there. You could make a nice DTMF house phone with caller ID. Or a nice house phone with caller ID and answer phone. Or a nice house phone with caller ID, answer phone and a black and white photo copier. You could even build a nice house phone with...

Transistor switching on another voltage supply

The whole point of isolating circuits is to completely isolate them.. No 'common' either. It would be an independant circuit controlled by the first low voltage circuit. For safety reasons no voltage/current can be fed back to the controlling circuit. Martin Ps, I will try and find something I...

Transistor switching on another voltage supply

I think you read me wrong.. I meant VERY clever. They used to use light bulbs to isolate circuits. Martin

Transistor switching on another voltage supply

Very clever. Using the bulb as an opto isolator. And bloody pricey.. Martin

    Turntable Spinning Fast in Reverse

Yes, you lost me for a while. I was refering to an ECM. They have a AC to DC converter/rectifier board on the stator. That, I think is for AC fed equipment. So what I was trying to explain was that the TT was supplied by DC, therefore no point in a AC to DC board in the motor. I am probably...
