Akai plasma 60" picture looks like a lava lamp sound still good

Sounds like a problem with the Z sustain board. But the fact that you still have sound, it's more likely the Y sustain board. As for not powering off...Unplug it from the mains and try a reboot. Does it respond to the remote? Both the boards should have fuses, so you could check those first...

    voice module help please

Yes, I just read my post above and am confused too..o_O BobK and Harald Kapp explained it in English.. Probably should have read 'using the added amp as a load' (speaker). All amplifiers should always have a load, invariably the speaker. If the speaker is removed the amp will easily be...

    voice module help please

Hi Mandalorian, and Harald Kapp. Do you mind if I ask a question? Mandalorian, you have connected an amplifier to an amplifier and to the original speaker. Do you know what Ω's the original speaker and amp is.? Secondly, amplifying an amplified signal will play havoc. You are basically using...

Need help identifying this component ...

I am not 100% sure they are resistor networks, except they look very similar. I couldn't find any reference to the markings. I even checked the LOGO resourse section on this forum. Somebody on here will know for sure.. If they are, I can make you some for Ferrari prices of course..:)

    led lamp assembly help

Think we just posted at the same time.... If they worked and now they don't, something has blown. As they are in series, if one led blows the others wont work. Try your 3v on individul leds on the boards.

    Portable Strobe Battery Pack.

Hi Eric, The inverter would more than likely be fine, as a little extra headroom would avoid thermal shut down. The sealed battery would have to be trial and error I think..Due to flash and inverter running off the battery. Perhaps a 12AH to start and do some testing on how long it lasts...

How do you not run outta batteries?

Hi atxjess, the 4 c batteries are 1.5 volts each. You need to add up all batteries voltages and it will give you the circuits running voltage. Yours has 4 c batteries. Each battery is 1.5 volts. times that by 4 = 6. So your cicuit requires 6 volts. You can buy a 6 volt DC adapter from any...

    ADE7816 Calibration

Hi, It generally frowned upon to have the same post on different forums. Especially 4 minutes apart.. http://www.edaboard.com/thread339121.html It is good practice to wait 24/48 hours for a reply. But some forums have active members and answer questions within a smaller time frame. Martin.
