    Resistance wire question (nichrome)

Use a larger wire (non-nichrome) for all but the point. Bob

    Pulse Amplitude Modulation

Yes, you can do this with a PIC. Just for kicks once, I put out a modulated 1MHz signal from a PIC using the PWM module and verified I could pick it up on an AM radio. 72KHz should be no sweat. Bob

Vreg heat issue and PCB power consumption questions

But there is something wrong if you already have a large heatsink, and it is getting that hot at 83mA. There should be only about 1.5W to dissapate and anything I would call a very large heatsink should run pretty cool at that. Can you measure the current? Bob

Uphill or downhill angle sensor for car

But the accelerometers will also register acceleration, which the OP said he wanted to eliminate. Bob

Why are you talking about a tuner? I thought you were trying to PRODUCE EM waves, not receive them? Bob

    Amplifier for unknown loudspeakers?

No. Those are the absolute max inputs to avoid damaging the device. Let us know what device you are looking at. A link to the datasheet would be good. The supply voltage generally depends on the output power desired, not the inputs. Bob

    Amplifier for unknown loudspeakers?

Any 2W audio amp would do. Bob

Uphill or downhill angle sensor for car

My last post was about the sum of my knowledge of this, but I think you need need both accelerometers and gyros to really determine the orientiation of something that might be accelerating. Bob

Uphill or downhill angle sensor for car

Only a gyro would be able to distinguish acceleration from tilt (rotation). Bob

    Math for led calculations

    Feedback resistor. You need to choose a resistor that drops 100mV at the desired current. At 1000mA that would be V = I R 0.1 = 1 R or R = .1 Ohm Bob

looking for the name of a type of header

You ordered: 517-929834-01-01 Which is a header with one pin, so you got what you ordered, if not what you wanted. If, for example, you wanted an 10 pin header, you should have ordered: 517-929834-01-10 I buy the 36 pin ones and break them apart myself. Bob

I need your help in understanding induced EMF, B fields, C-EMF

You put current on the armature windings, and they produce a N and a S pole. These are attracted to the S and N poles of the fixed magnets, and the armature moves in that direction. The motion of the coils in the magnetic field causes a voltage to be created in the coils that opposes the...

    HCH-1000 Humidty Sensor

The 20 KHz is just the frequency used to characterize the device. If you look at the specs, it can operate from 1KHz to 100KHz. How are you planning on measuring the capacitance? Bob
