    Large Wire Buzzer game

Hmmm, it says 12 or 24V, not 12 to 24V. But hey, it might work. I tried to look at the item earlier but it wouldn't come up on my phone.

Ratch, those posts are more than 4 years old.

Parallel Circuit with current source and dependent current source. HELP!

You are wrong. What is the current in the 8 ohm resistor in terms of that through the 2 ohm resistor?

Parallel Circuit with current source and dependent current source. HELP!

By inspection I get the voltage as 8V and the current through the 2ohm resistor as 4A. This is the first time I've actually tried to solve it and i did it in the time between these last 2 posts. AND I us ed the method I'm trying to get you to follow. It's not that hard.

Parallel Circuit with current source and dependent current source. HELP!

We don't give the answer. However, once you can determine the current through the 8 ohm resistor in terms of that through the 2 ohm resistor you are able to write the equation which will give you the answer. This should be trivial, but if you can't do it in your head, try calculating the...

Need help designing a resistor sequencer.

Increase the value of C1. Doubling it will double the time between changes in the switched resistor value.

    Fake phone exchange.

Check out asterix. It's software that can do all of that. You will require a special interface in your PC or one of a number of external boxes (typically with a network connection) in order for you to be able to do all this.

Parallel Circuit with current source and dependent current source. HELP!

Ok, so what is the current in the 8 ohm resistor in terms of the current in the 2 ohm resistor?

Parallel Circuit with current source and dependent current source. HELP!

Correct Correct Correct Correct Wrong. You are saying the current flow through the 8ohm resistor is opposite to that through the 2 ohm resistor. Haven't you already said the current flows downward in R2? are you saying it flows against the arrow in the dependant source? Now, it...

Parallel Circuit with current source and dependent current source. HELP!

You're getting closer, but ohms should not appear. You've got the relationship between the current through the 2ohm resistor and the dependant current source, but you need to look more carefully at the current through the 8ohm resistor. What can you state about the voltage across both the...

Parallel Circuit with current source and dependent current source. HELP!

Ok, you're wrong. Lets see why. Firstly, how many nodes are there? Is there any ambiguity in the direction of current flow in the independent current source? What can you say about the direction of current flow through both of the resistors? (I.e. Can they ever be in different directions?)...

Need help designing a resistor sequencer.

There should be no problem running it from the breadboard. Just make sure to connect the -ve side of both batteries together. If you temporarily connected the junction of the three resistors to ground, disconnect them from ground before connecting them into the pedal.

Need help designing a resistor sequencer.

Oh the power rating is of no consequence. The high power resistor is just bigger.

Need help designing a resistor sequencer.

The resistance may be changing too fast for your multimeter to correctly display. Make sure that your 555 is switching no faster than about once per second. For testing, because the multimeter does not have a power supply with a common connection to that of the 4066, connect the common...

Help with ttl power-on reset pulse

Oh, it's a good idea not to reply to your own question before anyone else because it appears as if the question has been answered (at least for those of us who look for threads that nobody has replied to)

Help with ttl power-on reset pulse

You need a capacitor to ground and a pull up resistor with a time constant of about 0.5 seconds. Be aware that this pulse will have a slow rise time and you should probably apply this to an input with a Schmitt trigger. Alternatively you can square it up with a standalone Schmitt trigger...

    Reverse polarity capacitor

Your call is probably OK. The reverse polarity you applied was only 10% of the maximum forward polarity. The cap can probably withstand it. There is a reasonable possibility that its forward voltage has been temporarily reduced, but again you're only planning to use it for 5V.

Parallel Circuit with current source and dependent current source. HELP!

I've deleted your other thread. It doesn't matter how you're learning, I'm sure what you want is assistance, but not complete answers. I'm assuming that the final image is the problem itself. The first question for you is: Is there any ambiguity in the direction of current flow in any of the...
