    Craig's battery saver for Android!

Update! My wife has redesigned the interface, saves me having to do it lol :) The taskmanager and autostarts have also been upgraded (eg you have an alarm app which gets didabled on startup, clicking on clean/autostarts button the allows you to restore that alarm app)

    Electronic Inks!

With the pencil i used it to create a variable resistor for an LED, by moving a wire up and down the lead track.. However it was dim, so i connected the other end of the track to the base of a transistor or at least i think i did (tried many years ago) so i might have just dreamed up the...

    Electronic Inks!

Website sells these low resistive pens along with resistive pens, looks pretty neat eg building circuits on the bus/plane/train or just prototyping stuff quickly The pens are a little on the expensive side though around $13 - $20 range but looks like a lot of fun!

    Converting dc to ac

Not easy, you'd need something similar to a class d amplifier to produce a sinewave before you get into current draw from parallel mosfets

Reducing amps in a circuit without change in the voltage

Well... it depends on the circuit

Old School and stuck on component ID

Maybe the fact it use 1watt leds and not something lower rated got me confused

Old School and stuck on component ID

400ma per LED? That's with or without current limiting? Over 100watts of light? So each led has a 200ohm smd resistor? Which brings the current right down no where near 400ma I'm confused by the setup

No sound front panel audio jack (need help)

The audio connector might not be even connected to the motherboard Open up the case, follow the cable down from the top front down usually near to the bottom of the mb, i bet it's prob dangling unattached

    Voltage regulator for LED panel

The lm2596 already has adjustable voltage, no need for a pot You simply need 100 resistors or less (using higher voltage led's in series)

DIY buck converter (& Sexy Scope)

I was wondering the best way to deal with the feedback voltage, he used a voltage divider... Anyway, check out that scope :O

    BBC Microbit

Don't see much point of one if you have an Arduino board, just a cheap clone would give you more functionality LEDs are cheap

    Photoflash capacitors and Charging

Can't a low voltage super cap be used? 2.7v 500f for less than $10 will put a photo cap to shame... I suppose the the copper coil would need to be quite a lot thicker than it's high voltage counterpart

    Photoflash capacitors and Charging

The aa batteries are fine, you need to step up the voltage (inductor/transformer required)
