How to wire tweeter to speaker

The value of capacitor required depends on the crossover frequency you desire and the speaker(s) impedance. Some values for both would be a good place to start. Are you intending to connect two in parallel or singly in separate units. It's not entirely clear from your post.

Hello, can somebody help wich transistor is like bfg520

Hi again. I am pleased to see that you have now copied my schematic and that you are getting your simulation to work. I have no problem changing frequency. By varying my V3 or your V1 from 10Vdc to 1V dc, I get a change in frequency from 107.49MHz (at 10V) to 99.28MHz (at 1V).

Hello, can somebody help wich transistor is like bfg520

Who say's they can't? For heavens save just simulate the circuit as per my diagram.

Hello, can somebody help wich transistor is like bfg520

Hi Audioguru. The Signal from V2 through C5 is to disturb the junction of C4, C3 and L1 to get the oscillation going. It is just a narrow single pulse.

Hello, can somebody help wich transistor is like bfg520

You must be looking at the wrong diagram as mine shows R5 as 390R.

Hello, can somebody help wich transistor is like bfg520

Hi yet again. As Audioguru correctly mentions, your LC circuit is still wrong. It should be parallel resonant. See below, my recent simulation and graph. Copy them exactly. Remove all the extra bits in your simulation. Get the basic circuit working and then you can start adding filters and such...

Hello, can somebody help wich transistor is like bfg520

My current version of Simetrix is 8.1. Your version is quite old. I assume from that that you are not able to save your files as PDF's which would explain why you have sent them in a different format to that requested.

Hello, can somebody help wich transistor is like bfg520

First off, I can't see your circuit behind the graph which you have superimposed over the schematic. Second, R4 is not the correct value, it should be 390R. Third, the filter will be loading the O/P stage causing the distortion that you see. Please save schematic and graph separately as PDF's...

Hello, can somebody help wich transistor is like bfg520

Did you set all the component values as in my schematic? including the transistors? Also, the circuit needs R4 which is effectively the DC resistance of L1. Without it the simulator will regard L1 as a perfect inductor and it will have a very high Q. Attach a copy of your simulation circuit to...

Hello, can somebody help wich transistor is like bfg520

Hi again. See attached my version of your oscillator which does work. Simulated using Simetrix. To actually make this sort of simulation work, you often need a perturbation of some sort to initiate oscillation. That is what the extra bits "V2 and C5" are for. They combine to give a very short...
