    The point I was trying to make is your in house tests appear to be done on a power circuit ie always on...... Your remote light as far as I can make out, is off , and the unit relies on power on.

    Just out of curiosity, you originally mentioned the remote circuit was for lighting so was this switched on at the time. I imagine it would need to be.

    I originally imagined there may be some reference to clipping or overdriving causing distortion. Either way, I go with your 180 for the OP.

    Basically, as the transistor turns harder on due to more base bias, the collector goes towards ground.

    The bulb of the thermostat takes it's temperature input from the back upper wall of the oven. Did you place your thermometer there? I'm guessing not. More likely sitting on a shelf. The fact that it equalises after a period confirms temp control is ok. There is more to how long it takes for...

    Well, it's abandoned now and who knows for how long so I fail to see the difference. If one doesn't use the stereo or speaker system for a period of time does that make it abandoned?

Allows for banana plug to be pushed in at the front or if you unscrew the knob, it exposes a small hole where a bare wire can be fitted and terminal tightened again.     It requires programming. However, before you go changing microcontrollers, usually there is some input that writes to the micro requesting the mosfet be turned on. Have you looked at what that might be?

    Yes. With the nail cure there tends to be more mobs in on the act so-to-speak these days, all with differing requirements for cure wavelength. Hence more are producing the cure machines with fluros. mmmm...wonder if we can find somewhere to use nail polish as glue, still have a few of those...
