UV LED PCB Lithography Exposure Unit

I tried it donkeys years ago but had anything but success. Used a gang of 8w fluro tubes but found out later that the pre-coated board which came from Dick Smith could have been sitting on the shelf for a year or more. One would expose to the uv for a given time(experiment) and then spray with...

Why are mains plug pins usually made of brass in the UK?

I think most is a compromise between cost, manufacturing and wear and tear. No mention was made of the difference in materials in the actual sockets between the UK and US so perhaps the answer why the UK ones seem to burn out. Usually burn out plug/ sockets here in Aus are due to old worn out...

    Speed controller

Cost of buying parts alone would be way in excess of what you can buy already built. Depends on your motor size but this one has a very broad input/output range and can handle 8 amp continuous for a bit over $7.00 with delivery...

    What's wrong with circuit?

To me it seems the 33nF and the 4K7 are across the mains so first filter section, 2nd section is the 22nF and the 1K............ just as shown in the last attachment. I would imagine the other 22nF on the base is to block any DC component and just allow the signal to pass.
