    One button power door locks

Ok..... enclosed are 3 circuits. Circuit_1 was how I saw your first requirement. i.e.The signal would activate a spst relay to power the up function on the door lock actuator. A second push of the switch would flip the signal to activate a second spst relay to power the down function...

    One button power door locks

 I believe these may be two different requirements. So do you now require the latter..? Could work with Arduino ok and I can think of a hardware arrangement that would work "in a fashion". The previous latching relay "coils" may well not draw any current but unless there is some form...

    Light Bulb Technology?

The final comparisons are how much does it cost to convert, how much do you save in comparison. How long does the new fitting last in comparison to the old, not what the manufacturer claims but actual time.

What is th simplest way to monitor a voltage in a circuit?

Bob, Just wondering....always thought there was a minimum current where the zener would regulate. Seeing the high values of the resistors shown, would that be sufficient current..?

    Light Bulb Technology?

Light bulbs as we know them have all but been taken off the shelves in Aus.(Government requirement) In my experience, LED's in the home aren't worth a cracker. We've replaced maybe 20% of the one's we've installed, mainly the drivers break down and the cost of the driver (if one is available)...

    CircuitMaker 2000: Any users here?

I've used it with XP pro for many years without a problem. Loaded it up on my current Window 7 and it works ok for over 3 years now. When I use the accompanying Traxmaker, it refuses to save every now and then if I leave it too long between "saves". Googled " win xp circuit maker 2000" and it...

How to change the frequency of AC mains supply

And possibly a 3 phase motor. Depends on how low you want the speed but go too low with a single phase motor and the start windings will re-energise and possibly burn out the motor. You may also use a valve to throttle the flow.

Potentiometer search CTS 50K linear taper 1 turn

Piece at the back looks like a switch (125VAC 3 Amp) so look for a switched pot or.... replace with a standard pot and a seperate switch that could mount elsewhere perhaps. When searching you need to state rotary switch or push pull or push push for the switch. Here's one from Digikey...1/4W...

    Need Help! Master Buss Compressor

No, what he said was he didn't think it would be the PS caps (PS being Power Supply...i.e. the two large caps on the back of the board.) Reason being it appears to be a split supply which is common to both channels. There are 18 others on the top. Could be as many as half of them that may be...

Optical encoder from ink printer, help understanding

I wouldn't be too concerned at the load capacitance but as the spec sheet says........... supply is 5V dc ........load is pull-up 3.2K ohm.......... i.e. channels A and B (output)....Each one via 3.2K to 5V rail. Normally means output is open collector.
