    Hacking a microwave oven

I doubt you will find anyone with the experience and know-how will even consider such a task. Microwaves can be lethal. Not the type of thing one hacks.

Easy to get "feedback" in auto circuits, mostly due to the fact the wiring is mostly earth return switching.

    ac motor control

Best just to use a small dc motor /gearbox ...easy to control...safe to use...run off plug pack....cheap off Ebay...tons of torque.....easy to reverse Speed control units there also for a few dollars. example...

LED Strips blink on all X10 circuits

Seems a lot of work when a direct replacement tube is available for the existing 40w tubes. Kit comes with a replacement "starter fuse" to fit to the existing starter base. Note that they are mostly not suited to many existing dimmers etc. as with many LED fittings and drivers.

    Replacement Capacitor

If the motor is not working at all at present, best to trace through the wiring. Start with the supply lead and plug, through to the switches, speed control governor points and finally through the motor itself. You could use the wiring chart shown above and although the above may contain...

    Replacement Capacitor

Think you will find it is a suppressor cap. Green wire to the frame and the other two across the speed control unit.(points) I think the speed control will work similar to the Sunbeam mixers. They have a speed governor shaft coming from the armature centre with bob-weight arrangement. this in...

    Réfrigérateur whirlpool

Google translator is a great thing....seems this bloke is having trouble with the defrost but there simply isn't any auto defrost. Mahfoudh, as I said, I think you'll find the temp control is done via a fixed thermistor possibly mounted somewhere in the skin or even in the evaporator...

    Help with comparison of DMM's.

As an addition to Hevans1944, look at the Cat ratings as well. If you have no intention of going near incoming mains, perhaps cat 2 or 3 would suffice.

    Réfrigérateur whirlpool

Cannot see any reference to thermostat in the parts layout however the circuit diagram shows the temp control as a thermistor which may be why the original tech said there was no controller (as such...not an accessible adjustable unit as one is familiar with at least) Only testing will reveal...
