ok first time i created a post in a while, but I need help.
first of all I saw a device ages ago that uses the househould electrical wiring to transmit a network for computers... what is the device called?
and secondly this one is a project unless someone has a premade device. I work at a shopping centre and today we had to identify which meter fed a tower outside. they had meter numbers and if we called our electrical provider we could have gotten it after being on hold for a while but I thought to myself is there a device like the one I talked about about that i could send a signal through and locate the correct meter, it would have to work on 3 phase power and hopefully not interrupt power supply. is there such a device or could one be made?
the tower was a telecommunications mobile/cell tower. I wasn't playing with it but thought after seeing this poor guy try to figure out which panel was his, there must be an easier way
