Greetings from a noobie;
I found the 3 axis controller board kit thru a google search thats made, or was made, by [email protected], and which looks to be exactly what I need for the controlling of a micro-mill.
Unforch, it appears [email protected] seems to have an overloaded mailbox, has some sort of a password number driven intercept on his 800 number, and just plain isn't answering the normal phone number that fell out of a google search just now.
I also see that he is no longer selling to the general public in qty's less than 5.
This looks like a decent board, particularly for someone like me to attempt to run a micro-mill with.
I downloaded all the stuff required to build it, but I'm not really equipt to handle pcb etching here at the old folks home aka The Heskett Ranchette.
I got spoilt many years ago when the tv station I started out doing a bit of engineering at back in '64 had a DEA spray etcher, which made short, and extremely precise work out of pcb etching. Rather impressive to see the notes you made in the 10 by grid under the layout mylar, come back out of the etcher perfectly ledgible and .025" high in 2 oz copper after a 4x reduction.
Is anyone else here on this list makeing up this kit and selling it? Or has it been sold to a commercial operation?
Please reply (prefereably in plaintext) to:
[email protected]
In addition to the list.
Many thanks
Cheers, Gene
