can the leds be mounted into spray foam insulation

hi
for over 30 years i have been using insulation spray to build my miniatures and other displays. it never got moldy
why will this become moldy?

Agreed. I’ve used it for years too, albeit for its correct use.
It does go dark orange over the years but once painted, it doesn’t show. The amount that you have used may sag in very hot conditions.
I would recommend using chicken wire for the overall shape and then spray the foam onto it.
A bit like using a balloon for papier-mâché.

hi
chicken wire and then fencing were my first attempts. they filed miderably. maybe becuse i need about 100 cans to support all that wire
it all fell down and none of the spray stuck
this will hold up as long as it can then we will build a new one maybe better than the first.

Usually, two such mounds would be used. One smaller and goes under the main mound. This smaller mound would have a sacrificial cloth on or some kind of paper. Then the foam can be sprayed onto the top mound and fall through until it expands up and out of the larger mound of chicken wire.

great idea for next time
this time i used boxes and blus sheets of foam and put the spar mainly in between the 2
