I would like to interface an mp3 player to the CD changer bus of a car stereo. For the time being I'm using a portable mp3 player with a casette adaptor. I would like to be able to use a player with a huge hard drive and keep out of the way.

I found a this site (http://www.k9spud.com/vwcdpic/) about interfacing all kinds of audio devices to a Volkswagen's OEM head unit. Especially a player (http://www.pjrc.com/mp3/) which can be controlled from the head's buttons.

Now, I'm willing to buy a new car stereo that is easy to interface, but there is no way I'm gonna buy a VW just to experiment. So, does anybody have any info on any brand CD changer connections (pinouts etc)?
