To clean the gold contacts on the PCB of a PS2 memory card, is it better to use isopropyl alcohol and cotton swabs or electrical contact cleaner spray?
My memory card only works sometimes.

I would use a pencil eraser. But you do not know if the slot is the one with flaky contact instead of the card. Try it in other device to discern.

I have contact cleaner spray and isopropyl alcohol here, but their expiration date passed 5 or 6 years ago.
