Compass downloader questions.

Dear NG readers can someone inform me about:

1) From where i can download (except honeywell website) compass software?
2) Can someone mail me a copy instead of download it from web site?
3) Which is the better modem for connection via phone line with fbii panels?
4) Can compass software connect with all of ademco products? (Vista, FBII, OMNI etc)
5) Can i use a common 56K or slowest modem?

Robert Bass is a felon. He also gave you incorrect information. Since Greece
has no ADI branches, I can only surmise he is trying to rip you off.

Search this newsgroup for "ademco password author:Robert author:Bass", on Google
groups. He has already given the software to you.

Contact a distributor that sells Ademco products and they will be able
to give you a download link

Nobody will do this, I imagine it is a legal issue. (Even though the
software looks like it was written by a school kid)

Compass has their own modems - they are external - buy one from a
distributor and you can get the software the same time.

Not sure about Omni, but yes FBII as far as I know.

Easier said than done, suggest you get the compass modem, otherwise and
old hayes modem will work, at least thats what we used to use a long
time ago.
