Hello Dear All!

I want to know diff b/w an electrate & cond mike. As I replaced elctrate mike in an FM Transmitter Kit with cond, it didn't work. Electrate mike was fulfilling the job successfully earlier.

Also which one is more sensetive (If they are diff things)?

If you spelled "electret" correctly then you could have looked at its operation in Google.
The electret material holds a high voltage charge which allows the mic to work.
A condenser mic doesn't have the charge so needs an external high voltage power supply (48V) to work.
Many people wrongly call an electret mic a condenser mic.
An electret mic must be connected with the correct polarity.

which one is more sensetive
They have about the same low sensitivity.

The thing I am considering cond. mike, I think, also has polarity. red & black wires soldered.

Which kind of mik bears highest sensitivity?

Thanks for Ans!

Some electret mics are 2-wire and some are 3-wire. They connect to the circuit completely differently.
Your replacement mic isn't an electret type, doesn't work or isn't wired correctly to the circuit. The problem isn't a different sensitivity.

Hello AU!

Yes, the replacement isn't electret one. But I wanted to experiment for better sensetivity.

A condenser mic doesn't have the charge so needs an external high voltage power supply (48V) to work.
Then I want to build this amplifier. Can't ther be some compromise on the voltage requiered? Any suggestions, please!

What amplifier?
Your condensor mic will have about the same sensitivity as an electret mic if you bias it with 48V and have its proper load resistance.

Can't ther be some compromise on the voltage requiered?
Look at the datasheet for the mic.
