Hi :)
I just wonder if anyone can help me?
I want to make a wireless controlled light dimmer.
I will use a microcontroller that provides 0-5V DC signal to a transformer, which provides 0-230V AC to the light.
Transformer must be electronic.
I'm a bit unsure of how I could to control 0-5VDC to 0-230VAC.

Annyone?

Best,
Andy

Yes, I could use a relay with on-off function... But for this heater and with lights, I need to have a range of 0-230v AC. And I need it to be done electronicly...

But after a bit much hassle with the project, so I wrote wrong thing here.
This transformer is of course to the light, but the heat, i use a thyristor ...

Annyway, thanks for your respons :)

A Solid State Relay (SSR) is another option, and one that provides better isolation and easier drive requirements. It may be worth considering as well.
