Ah, on phones it's harder to predict how things will work - is that using the Chrome browser on your phone, or something different? I've got an Android 7.1 phone I can test it against.

Not sure what it is. Under phone default aps, it says internet ver 1.6.28. Whatever that is?

I think your right that this is likely a browser problem. I think I'm overdue for an update anyway.
