Hi All,

I often find the file size limit way to low. The 3000kb limit prevents me from helping out with service manuals, books and other publications. Sometimes service manuals can be 60Mb or more and there is now way to send such as e-mail, my limit is 0.5Mb. Of curse it is possible to use WinRAR and chop the compressed file into 3000kb parts and make multiple posting (I have done this ;D) but I don

when posting .rar files just change the extention and tell people they need to re-name them to .rar to use them.

I still think the size limit is a problem! And I an not sure changing the file extension is the way to go. A service manual could still be 20 posts long! :eek:

Mixos;

Do you have any sugestions?

Max file size increased to 5000KB but i don't think Ante became happy ??? There is a limit on the HD space so it can't be increased too much.

Also rar files are allowed from now on.

For such a large files (60MB) i suggest you to open a free hosting account (ex geocities or similar) and post the link on each message you want to include the file. If the file is already available online just post the link.
