These aren't acceptable - too low edge-to-edge pixel count!

I am using a 1280x1024 17"-diagonal LCD panel now. If the 42" plasma
display had equivalent pixel count, I would just need a bigger desk.

Hey, a rate multiplier with a fixed setting is a divider.
Of sorts.

Yeah, so's a gear with broken teeth.

It's a matter of emphasis and useability and of courtesy. :>)

Not that he's suddenly my hero or anything, It just seemed to me that
you were taking an unwarranted swipe at him when even a warranted swipe
is so out of character for you.

Anyway, consider these two possibilities: 1) the source is
inherently very stable and square (e.g. from a divider), or
2) the resulting x 0.4 frequency is not used with a PLL in
communications and isn't sensitive to small levels of inter-
pulse jitter. I have encountered many such cases in my own
engineering experience.

Yes, I'm sure we all have...

However, I believe most of us consider "symmetrical" to mean square, and
I sure wouldn't consider a group of non-square pulses repeating
periodically to be symmetrical. For that matter, I wouldn't even
consider a group of repeating square pulses with different periods
between them to be symmetrical.

I have this recurring dream of having three 60" plasma panels
------ connected to one computer.. like this <--

me

It would only cost about $40K US.

I'm considering two, but not so big... one for schematic and one for
PSpice Probe...put a marker on the schematic and see the waveform in
Probe without having to flip windows.

I do the logical equivalent with Synplify and ModelSim. Dual screens
is the only way to fly. My laptop has a 15" 1600x1200 display with a
22" 1600x1200 display tied into a card in the docking station.
