The chip is a dual op amp. . . . . . . .so sez Delta Force
So . . . . . what the hell ?
. . . . . at the absolute least, give ALL OF US, the additional benefit of ALL of the alpha/numerical markings atop its case !
That should, minimally, be its part number as well as its date code . . . . . .maybe even an additionl manufacturers logo..
With my very best visual GUESTIMATION . . . ¿ I think ? . . . . mine eyes might make out ? a year of 1988 on top of that 8 pin U101 EYE SEE..
The board seems to be of FAR EAST, origin of manufacture and they assigned the whole board as being their PW0031 board assembly in an overall unit.
Do you still have the total unit ?

73's de Edd . . . . . . .

Parallel lines have ,ever, ever so much in commonality, but its just a dirty crying shame that they will never meet !

If you take a high res pic of top of package, save it as bitmap, we can use
photo editing tools to do edge detection and extract the markings on its
top, possibly......

Regards, Dana.

You first.

What is it we are looking at? What is it from? Was it working when removed? What is the power source? There must have been wires attached to the board, so what did those wires connect to.

Some of the silkscreened legend is blocked by components. Please post another view from a different angle that shows the blocked parts. also, a photo of the bottom side of the board - you know, the place where *all of the connections* are.

ak

ps. Hacking, and reverse engineering, are not the same thing.

AK, this chap won’t answer any questions. If he does, it’ll be about a question asked from him.
Every single thread by him is the same. We have to pry the information over 4 or 5 days and that’s if he responds!
