Hello all! Obviously my first post here, I just came across this forum during my search today. Probably could have used this place before for other things.
So what I'm looking at:
Dell Studio XPS 1555 Laptop - My uncle bought this at a yard sale for cheap, but it had a issue, so he brought it to me to see if I could fix it.
Symptom: The laptop would power on and work, but randomly make some buzzing and other quirky noises, but after 20 - 30 seconds the display would go static. I only went into the BIOS personally.
I've had tons of experience repairing desktops, laptops, and other electronics. And so, had a hunch it had liquid damage.
Took it apart and found the liquid damage I expected. I cleaned it up and tried to power up again, but it will not. However, it will change the battery, so it's not completely toast.
After checking over the area where the water damage was, I found the culprit. I guess I got a little careless and rough while cleaning.
Picture can be viewed here. Sorry it's so big...
On the board it's labeled: PD11
The component is labeled: KL4 W9
One of the leads is missing...
I'm not 100% sure, but thought it may be a diode, which searching, brought me here: http://www.scribd.com/doc/58568740/Diodes-Inc-Marking
Searched for "KL4" found part number BAT54S.
And that on Digi-key and Mouser:

http://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail...r/BAT54S/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMudZehw8RjeZTifoK6Js1Mn
So, am I right, wrong, close, no where near?
I have plenty of board level soldering experience so if I can get a replacement, I should be good. Oh and I do have another circuit board from a TV that has the same looking components on it, but not sure if they'll work or not.
I appreciate any help offered, thanks!
