Identifying Low ESR Electrolytic cap

How do i know that a electrolytic cap is a LOW ESR type when i stand there in the electronics shop, looking at one? The seller says they all are Low ESR, but i'm not sure, he also say the resistors are Low ESR, and he seems not to know what i'm talking about!

Hi Staigen,

You should ask for the datasheet to see for yourself if the caps will perform the way you need them to.
