Hello all, me again
I wish to know what is the formula to calculate the length and the diameter of an aircore inductor when you have only the inductance value. i.e. for example how to calcultate the diameter and length and turns of an inductor of inductance .15uH

thanks very much

if ur inductor is solenoidal..
inductance - L
Number of turns - N
Mo = (4*pi / 10000000)  ;  pi= 22/7
ength of the inductor = x
Area of circular cross section = A

formulae

L  =  ( Mo*N*N*A ) / x

* - multiplication

if u want inductance for inductor with some other core ( other than air)

Relative permiability must be found

it is no more "Mo"(air core)
it ll be  "Mr"(relative permiablity)
