Inductor's colors - The same as resistors?

I've got from a friend a large quantity of inductors, looking bigger than 1/4W resistors, but smaller than 1/2W.
They have 4 colored lines :
blue, green, silver, black.
What's the value of this inductor?
Is there any way to check it ?
