So if you add 40hz to 80hz at the combinations of 180 degree phases you will peak at each 90 degree phase so you can get a pulse every 90 degrees, if you can chip it out somehow.

If u give me 4 octaves of ac, I can get you a 16 led chaser.

I really like it, but it takes diodes, to chip the peak out.

I made a new one with only using dc to start off with, but the catch it only goes for 2 cycles and you restart it.

But maybe all you need is 8 or 16 hits, and then u might be able to go forever. This is really messy and the second tier of it is just fudged values cause im not very good at yet. (its a bit wobbly result but the main idea of it is sound i think.)
