looking for lm394 or equilvalent

Hello all,

I am looking for a matched transistor par to make a current mirror (rails +-
5V, 500µA down to 100nA). At the moment I am looking at ~$20-30 for one
LM394 from farnell or RS. Anyone with a WES catalog handy for prices? Also
can anyone suggest other matched transistor pairs to build a current mirror
with the above specs?

** The 2SC1583 dual NPN is available from WES for $ 1.85 each.

Specs are good too - often used in analogue synth VCO circuits and
amplifier differential inputs.

equivalent?

** No problemo - its the 2SA798 ( WES have them too)

One of each was used in the front end of several old SAE power amps - "
...... differential complimentary symmetry" .

Way to go in 1977.

WES don't list LM394.

They do list 2SC3381 at $2.10

so if you can use this in your design it should work fine.
