Love that "one cockroach" quote!! I'm still learning and will never stop. It's basically lack of experience and a slow learning of reading of schematics but I'll get there little by little.

These units were in a club environment with lots of fog and cigarette smoke without ever being serviced for years, just left on the rig and, when problems started to appear, the issues were left unattended, compounding the problems. They came into my hands maybe 3 years ago and were left untouched all this time and I only started troubleshooting over the past few weeks. Disgustingly, even though they've been out of the environment for years, they still stink of cigarette smoke when they're opened up. This particular model was discontinued over 10 years now and parts are difficult to source but it's a high end brand, Martin, out of Denmark, one of the biggest lighting companies out there. I need a total of 5 new drivers so I ordered 10 pieces from DigiKey so I'll have spares.
