Hello here I have a pro5 vibrating platforms that has a bit of a smps issue.
However the first techy removed the pmw on the lv end of the smps and now I now I do not know what to put there
The missing ic is that one with a small heat sink.
If anyone has an old board like this, please tell me the number of that ic.

Could be a game of light and shadows.
That Big capacitors is about to pop!
Independent of size; a visual comparison to the other electrolytic capacitors on the board the tops are flat.
And the date on the board says 2007 so you got a bunch of problems or not....
How's that for a techy!

You said."The missing ic is that one with a small heat sink"
You mean this one with the red arrow pointing at it? If so I think it's still there! take another photo I want to see what's on the other side of the heatsink fins, thank you very much...
And if you notice on the board there are designations for components example
C1, R1,Q1 ,on the solder mask. Sometimes the board will give you a clue as to what belong there... And do you know how to solder? I'm just asking cuz I don't know.:)

FAT CHANCE . . . . for your dream request . . . . but otherwise
The switch mode, lo-to-med power transformer is HX EEL1903 . . . . .and . . . . .

Your photo STILL seems to show the existing presence of the very top edge of that IC's sink tab and its captive screw ? ? ?

The Red Arrow'ed smaller heat sink should be for that missing ? switch mode I.C. but we can't see that units now vacated lead holes, re confirm for us, how many that there are . . .4 or possibly 5 ?
I am seeing it as 3 bent plus two straights in between them . . . for 5 total . . . . . . .a la . . . . .

Can you give us a good close up of the bottom foil side of the board in that power area also ?

That MAIN brown E cap is probably not puffed and still operational . . . . . . .note its NEAT molded rubber holder !
It provides power to the inverter section with its IGBT custom Mitsubishi PS21562-P power module under the MASSIVE heat sink.
You can just see 3 of its 5 lead pins at the sinks front left bottom corner.

Now I understand your peanut fetish.
And that Brown e cap is cooked due to the Large AC ripple content feeding the igbt.
