I have this device. It vibrates and knocks. It works well.

The problem is that this has some remote. After powering it on, you must press POWER on the remote, then press a program button for it to start.

But what needs to be done for this to start automatically when powered on? Can this done by an electronics shop? Adapter's output is 12V, 3A. My intention is to use a Smart Plug to control it.

Many thanks!

That looks like an interesting torture device. A twin turbo vibrator.
It’s probably a micro controller with built in (programmed) speeds with a tactile switch.
Can you take close up photos of both sides of the PCB. Do the motors have any writing on? Like voltage?.

Martin how are you doing? We did some Kanger exercise together!

We are tortured 3 years, buddy. Some animal rented above us. I have exhausted all civilized options.

Here is a video of the device: https://cloud.video.taobao.com/play/u/2207851258939/p/1/e/6/t/10301/289263742822.mp4

Big motor is the vibrator. Smaller one hammers. I don't need the vibrator, it does not work for making noise to the other side. But it is damn powerful.

I will try to get what you require.

That is the funniest thing I’ve seen!.

Kanger exercises?, sounds scary.
Measure the voltage to the motors, it may be 12V. In which case you could run it direct from the adaptor and a timer/smart switch.
I wouldn’t run those cheap motors for too long though, keep an eye on temperature. You could add a PWM motor controller.

You helped me with my dead battery! It did not work :) I took to the shop and they could not make it work either with some other batteries.

There is no writing on motors.

Keep in mind that I have no electronics experience. So it is all greek to me.

Do you want me to put the probes into the terminals on the white connector box on the PCB? Would orientation matter (+/-)?

No. Put the probes on the motor connections while powered.
It may already be PWM. I can only read one IC. That is a 5V regulator (U1).
Can you read Q1, Q2, U2, U3 and U4.

0.0-2.8 volts DC. It fluctuates.

I put it back, but if required I can take it apart to read.

Fluctuating suggests PWM.
The IC numbers will be required to see if there is a work around.
But you can buy very cheap motor controllers that you can adjust for that very special night!.

Yeah, I noticed that too.
The OP wants to circumvent the board if possible. So I didn’t bother mentioning it as it is working.

The device has 2 modes: Vibration and hammer. Bigger motor is vibration.

With remote buttons, you can choose between the modes. You can also mix them.
You can also increase/decrease intensity. I found that this just increases the frequency of hitting for example.
You can also adjust time.
None of these is important. I just want to be able to hit the thing when I want.

Normally you can use the remote. But that one will go inside the false ceiling, so it will not work.

I’ll have a look at the data sheet when I get home.
Nice clear photos.

I can't take your time like this. I don't mean no disrespect, I know it is an enthusiast forum, but I can offer some money to compensate the time you spend for me.

Don’t be silly, we do it because we enjoy it.
AND because some of us have nothing better to do!:)
