old music system dancing leds circuit trouble

i find an dancing leds circuit from old music system in scrap ,circuits works fine when i apply direct sound input to the circuit but when i connect in parallel amplifier with it speakers run but leds got off,so please tell how get over this,what is need to do?

This image doesn't really help at all. We need to see the connections (on the reverse side of the board) and preferably a schematic to go with it. You could just hand draw one and take a photo using your phone. Then upload it.
