project on PC to PC File Transfer and chatting

hello everyone,
 

        i m a final year engineering student of electronics and telecommunication. i m doing a project on pc to pc file transfer and chatting using RF. i would like to know whether to use C+ or VB for programming which one easy and for simple to program on this project. i know only c programming but i heard VB is more comfortable for this project. plz help me out.
